Zucchini For Weight Loss

3 Foods That Are Anti Weight Loss
This information is brought to you by Atlanta Weight Loss
If you are looking for weight loss tips you might want to try one I recently discovered. Recently I found a process that allows more nutrition into my meals without added caloric intake. What this means for your diet is more lean muscle mass and suppressed appetite. Foods dense in nutrients will stem your hunger and even curb those late night cravings we all get.
My plan is not that overwhelmingly new, you have probably been told about it a million times before. I decided to add some of the most nutrient dense foods available to my daily intake. Try adding things like Bok Choy, Mustard greens, Swiss chard and kale to your daily menu.
Using these vegetables never really occurred to me even though I have always known just how nutritious and important they are. Salads do provide you some green leafy products however when compared to Swiss chard, kale, Bok Choy and mustard greens the nutritional facts speak for themselves.
The trick to including these vegetables was figuring out how to slide them into a meal without tasting them on their own.
It is no secret that there are many recipes available but for the person who loves soups or tomato sauces with an Italian flavor this works great.
First gather up a bit of mustard greens, Bok Choy, Swiss chard and kale, the Swiss chard is optional. I put them in a large batch of soup broth or tomato sauce. It is also good to add a zucchini and a slice or two of onion to the mix.
Then, after they’ve simmered and softened up, I’ll take out the greens, onions and zucchini and put them in a blender. Once they’re smooth I’ll pour the mixture back into the simmering tomato sauce or soup.
Many people would never consider eating greens such as mustard, Bok Choy or kale alone, yet when you cook them in this manner and then blend them into a puree for soups or sauce the taste is excellent. You can lose weight while adding nutrient dense vegetables to your meals this way.
Another thing you want to keep in mind about pureeing the vegetables this way is the fact that vitamin absorption is actually increased. Because your body has an easier time digesting the vegetables in this form, you will actually benefit more from the vitamins and minerals.
Most parents struggle with feeding their children healthy meals, and this is a creative way to do just that. It might be a tad bit sneaky however, when you need to get more greens into the kids without a fight, why not? Your children will never realize there are any vegetables at all in your soups or sauces provided you get the recipe and seasonings correct. This is one strategy that makes weight loss a bit easier.
