Yogurt Diet For Weight Loss

Is this diet healthy and good for weight loss?
Hello,
I want to keep fit and lose weight. I’m still at school, so basically what I do is sit on my bum in class all day, but I do exercise for about 4 – 5 hours a week (and more when I have time). I want to know whether this diet would help me lose weight or not.
Breakfast: Banana, orange, low fat yogurt. Sometimes I have cereal.
Lunch: School food (usually rice/pasta, meat, vegetables, a piece of cake – the meat and rice have a lot of oil added, so they are really fatty…) and a cup of milk.
Dinner: An apple and yogurt. Sometimes with cashew nuts.
Please tell whether this is a good diet or not, and if not what changes I should make. Thanks in advance!

I live in a boarding school. I cannot eat anything other than school lunch.
I would consistently eat cereal in the morning with a banana OR an orange, make sure the cereal is a whole grain kind.
Lunch: If it must be school food than I guess you really have no choice. Toss out the cake, pasta is good as long as its red sauce, and the meat may be bad but it seems to be one of the only sources of protein you are getting in a day.
Dinner: I would eat a salad or something, maybe half a turkey sandwich? The nuts are good but almonds are better nuts, I forget why
If you can to, eat a fruit in between lunch and dinner, or that yogurt.
I think you have the idea down, just gotta trial and error what works and what not, also keep up with the exercise, a lot of cardio will help to lose weight.
