Weight Loss With Exercise Only

Exercise doesn’t seem to help my weight loss. What should I do?
I want to shed about 5 pounds that I put on this winter but I’m finding it virtually impossible – though my body seems to suddenly put on weight quite easily.I’m very active: I normally go to the gym at least 3 times a week. Two of those sessions will include 45 – 50 mins of cardio and 20 minutes toning – then I will usually do 1 or 2 aerobics classes of varying intensity. I usually walk to the gym (uphill) for 15 minutes. I’m not eating a massive amount either – following weight watcher’s points plan. I’m deffinately not eating too little.Recently, the only way I’ve been able to lose weight is by almost starving myself – having a cup of vegetable soup when I feel hungry in the afternoon and adding a bit of chicken to that soup in the evening – but I find that with all of the exercise I do, I’m constantly famished. I’m literally so hungry that I can’t concentrate on my work. If I don’t do this I find it virtually impossible to lose weight gradually. Exercise makes me hungry! Help me!
First of all I’m going to be honest with you-it’s not easy and losing weight takes a lot of determination and will power. Secondly don’t go on these fad diets which say for example cut out carbs or proteins weight and you’ll lose weight in 2 weeks-in the long run they don’t work! The weight will come off then you’ll end the diet but it will all come back on again and you shouldn’t be cutting out a certain type of food. To be healthy you need carbs, proteins, vitamins, and even fats!
Ok so now I’ve got that out the way you need to start eating less, there are two different methods and different people prefer each of them; the first is to eat 3 small meals a day and no snacking OR there is the 6 even smaller meals a day-do which ever you prefer but remember to have all the nutrients you need.
So now you’ve got a healthy eating plan you need to start exersizing more, 3-4 days a week of about 45 mins to an hours worth because remember half an hour or less or exersize only burns glucose not fat.
Don’t be too harsh on yourself and do allow yourself the occasional treat. Definately don’t starve yourself! And maybe if the exersize isn’t working up the intensity a bit. Good Luck!
