Weight Loss Through Injections
Problematic Weight Loss & Exhaustion?
Max is diabetic and since his diagnosis has been started on insulin injections. Our vet told us that it was fine to keep him on Canidae ALS, and that provided we kept him on the injections and a fiber supplement, he’d be fine.
But since then, he’s started losing weight and he seems to be excessively tired. He can’t run an agility course without needing to lay down halfway through and he doesn’t have the energy drive he had before the injections.
Our vet can’t find a connection or another problem with him, so I was hoping someone here could help us out?
Diabetes can be tough to regulate.
This site has a forum also, maybe some members in there have experienced with their dogs what you’re seeing in Max. They may have some information you can discuss with your vet. Good luck!
