Weight loss tips?
What are some good weight loss tips for a 40 something year old man who weighs about 220 and is about 6’0″ tall? What is a good target for caloric intake? He is moderately active, too. (He’s just started walking to work.) It’s my dad and I’m just trying to give him a little advice, but what works for me is different than what will work for him. Any advice, resources, etc. would be good.
2,000 calories per day
2-3 miles walking, increasing speed and distance continuously until he can run 6 miles per day at 10 minutes per mile.
Also, push ups and chinups will be good or weightlifting
