Lose Weight Gain Muscle Workout

How can i gain weight(muscle) and lose fat?
I need to gain weight for football. I am about 215 right now and want to get to atleast 235-240, but i want muscle, not fat. Also, what are some fat burning workouts/exercises?
Anyone can gain weight by eating. To gain muscle, you must exercise, and it must be regularly.
IF you are a beginner at exercising and you skip more than 3 days, you lose the muscle tone you got. When you have achieved good muscle tone, you can skip more days for emergencies, like illness.
There are so many exercise videos, and workouts, that without knowing more about you,
height, weight, medical conditions, etc. it is difficult to prescribe a specific one.
