Diet Kids

Is this an unhealthy diet for kids?
Breakfast- Eggo waffles, sugary kids cereal, flavored milk, donuts
Snack- fruit, naked juice, water
Lunch- sandwich on white bread, chips bag, water, pudding cup
Snack- milkshake with whipped cream or hot chocolate with whipped cream and trix yogurt
Dinner- meat, rice, veggies, and dessert…
For the breakfast, it’s not everything, it’s just one thing. Like either waffles or donuts.
It’s not the worst thing, but there are better options.
Are you asking regarding a child you take care of and want help/ideas, or do you want to say to their parent “Ha, see I told you that you are feeding them an unhealthy diet!”?
I’ll assume this is you’re child and you are wanting suggestions.
What age child are you asking about?
For starters it sounds like a Huge breakfast for a child. How big is this kid? Does he eat an entire eggo, one bowl of cereal, A donut or multiple donuts? Milk is fine, I’d do Ovaltine if he/she wants flavor. At least there’s vitamins in it.
My breakfast suggestion compromise:
again, Ovaltine to flavor the milk (the blue can is the best tasting)
perhaps half the Eggo, or the whole one for a 6+ yr old,
a bowl of Kix or Cheerios or Honey Nut Cheerios could be a good option.
The snack sounds fine.
Lunch: try a wheat bread cut into a fun shape, instead of white. corn chips can sometimes be better than potato chips, Try to add in a few vegetables or olives. Kids love putting them on their fingers, try to introduce carrots or peas. To get a smaller child to eat them, I roll them across their high chair, and they can try to catch them before they get to the other side. then they eat them.
PM snack: what about an apple or apple sauce, Or crakers with peanut butter? or celery with cream cheese and raisens (dont laugh at that last one, my 1st grade teacher shared it with us and it’s great).
dinner: kids dont’ need dessert every night of the week. otherwise it’s probably a fine dinner.
