Diet for cancer patient Need recipes, ideas?
My partner is undergoing chemo and radiation. He has now developed sores in his mouth so that all food and drink hurts him. Any ideas on what food to make that is palatable. He’s really suffering.

This isnt food, but it might help. Ask for ‘magic mouthwash’. Thats the actual name of it. Its a mouth rinse that is medicated but also contains lidocaine. THe instructions is to swish and spit. But what I did was get the stuff on a qtip or in a syringe and put it directly on the sores.
As far as food…. I lived on things like potatoes, breads and crackers. Avoid spicy or anything that would hurt/burn the sores.
