Help With College Diet & Exercise?

I am a freshman in college, and was wondering if any of you could help me on eating healthier. I am also trying to get a flatter stomach. I am 5’2” and 110 pounds, so I’m fairly small as it is, but my stomach is just not as flat as it used to be.

I am a music major, and between practicing for 4 different ensembles, it is hard to find alot of time to exercise. I usually do “8 Minute Arms” and “8 Minute Abs” every night before I go to bed. I’m planning on incorporating some cardio as it starts to get warmer- sometime’s I practice later at night and I could run to the fine arts and back.

But, as far as a healthy diet, I am fairly limited. Due to my busy schedule, some days I don’t get to eat lunch…and when I do I resort to going to the Deli and eating a sandwhich and baked chips. For dinner I always go to the dining hall. What types of foods should I avoid, and what types of foods should I go for? Should I avoid all salad dressings?

I use to go to CWU & they had a diner hall that was a buffet.. omg i packed on the lbs, moved back home, pursing a nursing career, lost weight..okay anyways.

Fruits and vegetables… LOTS OF WATER *No pop!!!*

No, but as i recall, i had the choice between ranch, blue cheese, 1000 island or a balsamic vinaigrette. You should go for the balsamic vinaigrette (or something similar), seeing as how it’s losest in calories. Be sure to not pile your salad with fatty stuff like cheese.. but brocolli, sunflower seeds… ya know, healthy stuff

Stay focused! You can do it even on a college diet.
