help on diet? need to lose weight?
im 17 and about to go to college… i want to lose 40 lbs (im over weight and i need to lose some weight… i added a few extra lbs so that i can set myself a higher goal)… need to lose the weight in about a month… i dont like to excersice though i have a trendmill that i go on when im bored…. i can restrain myself from food pretty well when i need to…i just like to eat…. any tips for a more simple diet…. i get food when at the supermarket i work in for my breaks… there is a lot of fruits and veggies to chose from and a salad bar and sushi and frozen meals and deli and bakery that i usually choose from…
make this as simple as possible….
i dont like wheat unless its a wrap… and i also eat what my mom makes…. or just skip the meal if im not hungry or i dont like what she made….

complex carbs, meaning whole grains like oatmeal and wheat bread
high protein!!! eggs/eggwhites, fish, lean meats(chicken, pork tenderloin, beef tenderloin), hummus or garbanzo beans, black beans,
and some dark chocolate to keep you happy!
salads are great but be sure to get the dressing on the side and pick a vinaigrette or light ranch instead of a fattening dressing. also avoid putting cheese on the salads since that adds a lot of calories!
sushi is good but don’t have too much, and again, watch the sauce.
for frozen meals try the kashi line and the amy’s line. those are both really high protein and have fresh ingredients. kind of on the expensive side though.
at the deli get turkey or chicken and lowfat cheese.
air popped popcorn is only 10 calories per cup!
